Meet the Doctors
Dr. Jordan Brunson
Dr. Jordan Brunson, originally from Dallas, Texas, completed his undergraduate studies at Morehouse College in Atlanta and his DDS at the University of Michigan. He served three years in the U.S. Army, achieving the rank of captain and receiving an Army Commendation Medal. Since relocating to Palmetto in 2011, Dr. Brunson has pursued continuing education in various dental specialties and often lectures on dental topics. He's affiliated with several dental associations and Kappa Alpha Psi® Fraternity Inc. He offers his expertise in general, cosmetic, and family dentistry at Palmetto Family Dental's three locations in Palmetto, Zebulon, and McDonough, Georgia.
Dr. Kirsten Jordan, D.M.D.
Dr. Kirsten Jordan, earned her Bachelor of Science in Cellular Biology from the University of Georgia and her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry from the Dental College of Georgia in 2017. Recognized for her achievements, she received several awards and actively volunteered during her academic years. A member of multiple dental associations, Dr. Jordan emphasizes the importance of continuous learning and has taken various courses in dentistry. Outside her professional life, she enjoys time with her husband Robbie and dog Maple, as well as cooking and traveling. She offers comprehensive dental care at Palmetto Family Dental, serving clients at three locations in Palmetto, Zebulon, and McDonough, Georgia.
Dr. Samantha Cook
Dr. Samantha J. Cook, DMD, hails from Columbus, GA and completed her doctorate at the Dental College of Georgia. After her studies, she returned to Columbus to practice dentistry. She specializes in comprehensive care, cosmetic procedures, and pain-free treatments. In 2018, she volunteered in Haiti, offering dental services. Outside of her profession, Dr. Cook enjoys family time, playing with her puppy Gamora, live music, and trying out new Pinterest recipes. She was honored as the 2018 Columbus Technical College Alumni of the year and is affiliated with both the Georgia Dental Association and the American Dental Association. Currently, she serves patients at Palmetto Family Dental's three locations: Palmetto, Zebulon, and McDonough, Georgia
Dr. Scott Smith
Dr. Smith, originally from Augusta, GA, completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine in 1987 at the Medical College of Georgia. After running a private practice in Loganville until 2015, he joined Palmetto Family Dental in 2016. Dedicated to continuous learning, Dr. Smith has furthered his expertise in cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, and implants, with notable training from the Las Vegas Institution. He's actively participated in dental missions abroad and local dental charity work in Georgia. Outside of his professional commitments, Dr. Smith enjoys spending time with his adult children, outdoor activities, and supporting the Dawgs. He offers both general and cosmetic dentistry at three Palmetto Family Dental locations in Georgia.
